Inclus Academy - Deeper insights and less digging: RAG-powered document libraries

In this Inclus Academy webinar, we explored how RAG-powered document libraries can help organisations get more value from their existing documents by making relevant information easier to find, understand and use in risk management.

We began by looking at the challenge many organisations face: important knowledge is often spread across large document collections, making it time-consuming to locate the information needed for a specific risk, assessment or decision.

Juha Törmänen and Alexander Westergård introduced the technology behind the approach and explained how modern AI enables documents to be searched not only through direct keyword matches, but also semantically. This means users can find information based on meaning and context, rather than needing to know the exact words used in the original document.

We then discussed how this capability can support more advanced analysis. In addition to retrieving relevant content, AI can help identify similarities between risks, recognise related themes and reveal clusters of information that may otherwise remain hidden in separate documents.

The webinar demonstrated how these capabilities can be integrated into different parts of the Inclus platform, helping teams find relevant risk information directly where they work. The aim is not simply faster search, but a more connected way to use organisational knowledge in assessments, collaboration and decision-making.

We closed by inviting participants to explore how their own document libraries could strengthen risk management in Inclus, and how the platform’s RAG functionality can be applied in practice.
