Inclus brings the National Cyber Security Centre's Cybermeter into digital format

Inclus has made a digital version of the Cybermeter developed by the Finnish National Cyber Security Centre (Kyberturvallisuuskeskus). The Cybermeter measures the readiness of organizations, and thus the entire society, to prepare for and react to various cyber threats, and it is freely available to all organizations. The Cybermeter helps organizations make information security targets visible and to work on them together, involving different personnel groups.

The Cybermeter developed by the National Cybersecurity Centre is very detailed, and it helps organizations to measure and improve their preparedness for cyber threats as comprehensively as possible. However, comprehensiveness means that the views of many experts from different parts of the organization are typically required to map out cyber threats and outline the preparedness situation. The involvement of experts must be made easy and smooth so that the important cyber security work moves forward efficiently.

Inclus’ collaborative risk management software is originally intended for collecting and presenting data related to the risks of organizations in a user-friendly and easy-to-understand manner. Thus, it is naturally suitable for measuring and developing cyber threats and the related preparedness.

Mikaeli Langinvainio, CEO of Inclus says: "It has been a pleasure to work with the professionals of the National Cyber Security Centre and bring the Cybermeter into digital format. Cybermeter is a valuable and carefully developed tool, and it’s now available as a digital version even more widely for organizations to use. In today’s world, the fight against cyber threats should be high on the priority list of companies and public organizations of all sizes - and it is. The digital version of the Cybermeter is a turnkey solution to this challenge and helps to identify risk areas and get precautionary measures started quickly."

"No organization can afford to overlook the central importance of cybersecurity in safeguarding their information and operations. Ultimately, the responsibility lies with management, but the systematic management of risks and threats requires the expertise of professionals. Inclus is a platform that offers an accurate assessment of risks, vulnerabilities, and the corresponding mitigation capabilities. It's great that the National Cyber Security Centre's comprehensive Cybermeter, which significantly enhances the security of organizations, has now been brought into an interactive digital format on the Inclus platform. The widespread adoption of the Cybermeter across various organizations also contributes to the overall security of our society," commented Risto Siilasmaa, founder of F-Secure and WithSecure companies. Siilasmaa is also one of the owners of Inclus Oy through his investment company.
